Homes with a crawlspace will require an encapsulated system. This will require your crawlspace to have a fully wrapped vapor barrier that will be the base for the mitigation system. Once your encapsulation is prepared, piping is added with the fan component, and vented to daylight. 

Homes with a slab foundation will typically require an installation that is drilled through the concrete until gravel is reached. Once this process is complete the remainder of your system and piping is installed. 

Very similar to slab foundations, systems with a basement will require drilling into the basement slab until gravel is reached. Similar to a slab installation with the exception that piping will travel back towards the top before it is diverted outside. 

Condos are the only exception to where the installation product, placement, and type vastly depends on your local HOA guidelines. For this type of installation it is best to schedule a service call, and see how we can better assist your specific needs.

Most townhomes are built on a slab style foundation, in which the application is similar to drilling down to gravel, and continuing with the regular installation process. The only notable difference is that some Townhomes do not have an attached garage, in which placement of the mitigation system would be on a case by case basis. 

Commercial and special purpose buildings, generally have a larger floorplan and require a different sized system. The concept and installation is the same as residential but with extra placement, material, and sometimes multiple mitigation systems.
